Bank Andara-Perbarindo Bali Signed MoU [Radar Bali]

Historical Cooperation: Bank Andara finally brought up cooperation with DPD Perbarindo to increase the quality of human resource, banking management, and information technology. There were 70 BPR followed the cooperation through this program.

Denpasar - Bank Andara and DPD Perbarindo Bali finally made a vital history in the banking world in Bali. Both parties signed on a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in revitalization of bank management, system, and human resource quality improvement, and information technology support. This vital cooperation was formally signed at Hotel Nikki, last Friday (21/8).
Attended on the signing event the CEO of Bank Andara Paulus Wiranata, Deputy Head of Bank of Indonesia Denpasar Wijoyo Santoso, Chairman Bank Andara Steve Mitchell and Head of DPD Perbarindo Bali Amitabha. “Our cooperation commitment with Perbarindo Bali and BPR will take place continuously with an aim on revitalizing banking world in Bali. At the first step we worked on 70 BPR,” Paulus Wiranata said yesterday.
Paulus added, the signed cooperation with Perbarindo included revitalization of bank management, system, human resource improvement, and information technology support. The compensation of this cooperation was that the BPR became a client to Bank Andara. BPR also had a right to receive credit of Rp. 100 billion at minimum. When he was asked about how slow Bank Andara in targeting BPR, Paulus didn’t deny it. “That’s because we are new comers, there have been only four months. We need time to grow forward. Therefore we need further deep research,” He explained.
At the other side, BI Denpasar gave a positive welcome on Bank Andara cooperation with Perbarindo.
According to Wijoyo Santoso, as a common bank, Bank Andara had some added values. Even though, he admitted, BI still reminded that the cooperation they signed on was just business cooperation. Therefore BI reminded so that in the run it could be done professionally. “Banking business is a risky business. So that it needs cautious principle implementation,” he said.
The signing on MoU between Bak Andara and Perbarindo Bali yesterday was also filled with seminar of “Company Law, Credit Agreement and Colateral related to Banking Practice”, with key note speaker Ida Bagus Agung Putra Santika SH. Mkn, Notaris PPAT and also a lecturer of Faculty of Law Unud.
