APRACA Study Visit to Bank Andara
On Thursday, February 23, 2012 Bank Andara received a study visit program from APRACA (Asia Pacific Rural and Agriculture Credit Association) at Bank Andara headquarters – Denpasar. The participants consisted of 12 delegates from four countries (India, Pakistan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka) is titled ‘APRACA Study Visit Program on the Development of Rural Industry Bank’.
This study visit program is to study about the linkage between commercial banks and BPR. One of them has been done by Bank Andara with Andara Bersama BPR (ABB) program. ABB is one of the synergy programs (linkage program) between PT Bank Andara and BPR with the aim to overcome nonstructural liquidity problems that are often experienced by BPR. In this regards, many participants asked in details about the concept, mechanism, and practices of ABB primarily related assessment, interest rates, and others.
Participants also conduct a field study visit to one of the BPR participants of ABB, i.e. BPR Ultidana Rahayu. The delegation appreciated the performance of BPR which has a very small level of NPLs and a pretty good profit.
