Bank Andara conducted ‘AndaraSmart - Goes to Korea’ event program on 23-27 February 2015 to Seoul, South Korea. Participated by 18 heads/officials of Rural Banks (Bank Perkreditan Rakyat / BPR) and Cooperatives who received training benefit from AndaraSmart program, a special program from Bank Andara for savings, fund deposits, and current accounts. This program is continuing the previous event to Yogyakarta as part of the mission of Bank Andara in improving BPRs, Cooperatives, and other MFIs competencies.
ALMA (Asset & Liability Management) Training class conducted in the same hotel of the participants, Vabien II Residence - Seoul, aims to help participants to assess, identify, measure, and manage financial risks in deciding the acceptable risk levels and setting limits to maintain assets and liability mismatch at an appropriate level given the organization’s risk appetite and growth and profitability targets. The training will also look at how asset and liquidity management able to assist in determining interest rate and condition of MFIs liquidity in refer to the loan portfolio condition. Bank Andara also brought the participants for a city tour to: Nami Island, Petit France, Gyengbok Palace, The National Folklore Museum, the Blue House, Trick Eye Museum, Dongdaemun Fashion Town, National Ginseng Institute, and Myeongdong Fashion Street.
The more beneficial program of Bank Andara is a commitment of the Bank to provide better services to MFI partners and to increase financial inclusion for the wider community through cooperation with MFI partners.
