As a commercial bank with social mission to increase financial inclusion in Indonesia, Bank Andara also supports Financial Literacy program as has been encouraged by the Indonesia Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan / OJK) that the lack of financial services used by the public can be enhanced with education to the public as one of the solution.
Bank Andara Jakarta and Semarang Branch Office conducted financial literacy program to the clients of Rural Bank (Bank Perkreditan Rakyat / BPR) / MFI and other participants from the community. This activity also aims to introduce banking and financial institutions with their benefits to the participants.
On August 21, 2015, KC Jakarta conducted this education with a cooperative named Koperasi Mitra Dhuafa (KOMIDA) to its members in the area of Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java.
On August 20, 2015, KC Semarang together with BPR Artha Huda Abadi conducted the literacy to BPR’s clients in Pasar Banggi village, Rembang, Central Java.
