In line with PT Bank Andara (“Bank Andara”) vision and mission as a bank committed in microfinance institution improvement and streghtening in Indonesia, the bank held a training for the clients BPR (Bank Perkreditan Rakyat) from 18 to 20 August 2009. The training also become a perfect timing for Bank Andara to introduce a bit about Andara Link technology planning that brought up bill payment facility, remittance, and many others that BPR currently cannot implement yet due to some limitations.
In providing the management training for BPR and the Andara Link introduction, the bank was sponsored by IFC in partnership with MICRA, with Citigroup topic: “Microfinance Management Development Program”. The training was planned to be held in two batches, which the first one has been held for three days from 18 to 20 August 2009 at Sanur Paradise Denpasar Bali. While the next batch is planned to be held at the following November.
At this first batch, the training was participated by 45 BPR directors or CEOs from Bali and Java. "Bank Andara has fulfilled one of the APEX Bank's function by providing this training", said Head of Perbarindo Bali on the opening of the training.
The training establishment has proven in opening a bettercommunication channel, to strenghten the partnership, to improve the productivity and performance in developing the economy of the people.
“This training is very useful for us, and we hope in the future there will be more trainings provided continuously", said one of the participant. “In the training, we were talking about commitment as part of important management factor. Bank Andara is committed to BPR, then BPR should committed also to Bank Andara", one of the training said. (WA)
