On Monday, October 21st, 2013, venued on Swiss-Belhotel Kendari, Bank Andara conducted a Partnership MOU sign off with BPR Group Bahteramas, that recides in Kendari, Northern Sulawesi and having integrated partnership with PT. Sulawesi Subur Sejahtera (SSS) dan PT. Tanah Mas Celebes Indah (ECOM) on Working Capital Credit Facility for Agribusiness Sector,. The MOU sign off was represented by Mr. David H.L Yong, President Director of Bank Andara, and representative from Group BPR Bahteramas, SSS, ECOM witnessed by the Governor of Northern Sulawesi, Mr. Nur Alam.
As an agriculture and plantation based business, agribusiness has prime role in community’s economic development as it provides opportunities of the main agriculture and plantation production in Indonesia and deemed as the prime commodity to gain the foreign exchange. Cacao is very potential agribusiness commodity to be developed in Northern Sulawesi.
This working capital credit facility as one of Bank Andara’s commitment in supporting the Bank’s partners to outreach and provide the financial access to the community and improve Bank Andara’s financial contribution in developing the small, medium enterprises.
Under the principle of "need, support and encourage each other with mutual benefit", Bank Andara will continue to enhance integrated partnership in other areas of and business models that will provide more benefits to the bank in areas of:
